What can I say about Table Table? Almost sad that I start this blog with a chain run resto... but still, it was an ok experience.

Easy to get to and simple parking, just off the Thanet Way. When we first arrived I was slightly worried that the car park was empty, and that the Harvester across the road was full. What was even more worrying is the fact i refuse to review the Harvester, I went there once.. never again!!! But that's another story...

Mr Purist and I were greeted at once by a friendly girl, and shown to our table in due course. Menus were allready on the table.

The main quabble we had with this place was the wait, considering it was not a busy night, and there seemed enough staff on we were made to wait ages. The drinks took a long time, the food even longer after ordering, and by then I had to stop myself from knawing my own arm off!

The food was good enough, the duck parcels to start were just the right amount, a good hint of ginger and not and hot.

The main course was not exactly what I expected. I ordered the chicken fajitas, which I do admit state on the menu they are coated with cajun spice. What I didn't expect was for it to burn my mouth off! There was nothing on the menu about it being hot hot hot!!

The waitress was not apologetic when I complained, and asked for a glass of milk. The meal would have been good enough if it wasn't for the hotness. I thoroughly enjoy a bit of curry, and spice... but when it ruins the flavour of the meal it's taking it a little too far!

Didn't stop for dessert, it looked nice but by then my stomach was crying at me, so i gave up. Was slightly frustrated when we (finally) got the bill... they'd actually charged me for the glass of milk! Chuh... how rude!

Overall an ok experience. £4ish for a starter, anything from £7 - 13 for a main course.
